A key organizer and coordinator of Bangladeshi diaspora community, Mohammed has been active in promoting democracy and citizen rights over two decades. He is the co-founder of US-Bangladesh Unity Initiative, an American non-profit corporation that aims to promote greater collaboration between United States and Bangladesh. In 2008 National Parliament Election in Bangladesh, he was a Campaign Manager for Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
An investment professional, he was a Vice President at New York based Private Equity firm OIC, Director and Head of Structuring at Uniper North America and a Vice President at Citi Group. He also held Research Faculty Positions at the Physics Department of Columbia University and Purdue University. He is currently a senior structurer and originator at Englehart Commodities Trading Partners.
