Shafiqur Rahman is a political science scholar living between Vancouver, Canada and Dhaka, Bangladesh. A student of engineering in BUET and MBA in IBA, he worked in Dhaka in private sector for ten years before leaving for USA for higher studies. Apart from a PhD in Political Science he also completed Masters in Operations Management. His primary research interests are in comparative political economy of developing countries and modern political ideologies.
He likes to be known as a part-time academic and a full-time activist for liberal democracy.
