Subail Bin Alam

Mohammad Subail Bin Alam, 39, works as COO of Rancon Infrastructure & Engineering Ltd.  He is currently looking after the Solar business and Steel structure factory of Rancon. He previously worked in Rentease (BD) Limited as Chief Executive Officer. He looked after the entire AWP operation of Rentease in Bangladesh and supported Rentease International in developing its business abroad. Before joining Rentease BD, Mr. Subail was the Director of Sarens Bangladesh Private Limited, a subsidiary of Sarens NV Belgium, and was responsible for the entire operation. He started the Sanes BD operation in Bangladesh in 2015. From Sarens, he worked to develop the business in Thailand & Myanmar. He is also a Director of Save Medical Limited, a hospital under construction in Bosila, Dhaka, as a part of the social responsibility. Before Sarens, Mr. Subai worked at Rahimafrooz Renewable Energy Limited (RREL) on project development and local and international bidding. The second-largest off-grid solar project globally, 650+KWp running under BPDB, was achieved and developed under him. Earlier in RREL, he worked at Getco Trading and set up Dhaka’s first Gas-driven CNG station. He started his career at One Spinning Mills as an assistant engineer. He is also working as a technical consultant at ULAB for a USAID renewable energy project. He also worked as a consultant for Telus International to develop Google Bangla in this locality. He worked as a Wind Measurement Expert under an ADB project in an STA. Apart from those, he hosted some TV programs and is still a columnist on various news portals, including Prothom Alo, Manabzamin and the Business Standards, the most circulated Bangla Newspaper in the world.

Mr. Subail completed his BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Dhaka. He started the Doctorate of Business Administration and PGD in cost management and accounts. He conducted different training in Flaments Consultants, Youth Carnival, JCI, KUET, Brac University & Rahimafrooz. He was also an Industrial Advisor of Green University, a Former member of the trade committee of Foreign investors and chamber of commerce, and a present & ex-member of various social platforms like JCI, IEB, Solar Society, BFSF, Youth Carnival, etc. He was awarded the ‘Occupational Ergonomics Award’ from the IEOM society in 2022 and ‘the Most Aspiring Member’ of JCI Dhaka West in 2016 for his contribution to society. He has a conference paper published in “The International Conference on Climate Change and Local Wisdom” in Indonesia.
